I have tons to write, but likely won't get most of it done until I return. It's Tuesday evening here. We had a long travel day to visit a ministry in Pollica. Travel took about 3.5 hours each way. Many of the roads were dirt and would not be considered fit for travel in the US. The pastor there has established a school, church, and an orphanage. He just finishes a weeklong crusade. He is in the heart of a primarily Muslim area. It's not always a friendly environment. His school is open to anyone and currently has 8 Muslim students who he hopes to be able to bring to Christ. He also ministers to men to teach them how to be responsible to their family. A very impressive ministry!
Also today we were able to see an orphanage for children with HIV on our way to Pollica. The orphanage is very poor and in its infancy, but it was great to be able to love these kids and to pray with them.
Briefly, (I'll expand on this more later) yesterday was spent with women and children of the Karamajong tribe here in JinJa. They are the poorest of the poor and very looked down upon. This is where my friend Mitch and his wife have raised money to build a nursery school. It's up and in its final stages. What a beautiful thing to see! It was great to love on them and to let them know that they are all our brothers and sisters in Christ. Pastor Andrew has been able to bring many of the women and children in this destitute village to Christ!
Finally, a huge thanks to everyone who has supported this work. Please pray for the people of Uganda.
God bless!

Eric - thanks for keeping us posted. We thought about you during our visit to South Haven. We all brought our shirts and wore them in honor of you and all who have participated in this mission. We planned to get a group picture with our shirts the day we departed for home, but a huge storm blew in as we were finishing packing - it was a mad dash to check out. So glad to hear things are going well and God has allowed you to have this experience, thus enlightening each of us, through you. God's blessings to you and all those with whom you come in contact with. Looking forward to your return and hearing all the details. -Brother Bob.
