Greetings from Uganda

Sorry I haven't posted here yet. Things here are great and we have been very busy. We have worked clearing land on the tree farm in the mornings.  We decided we would also hire some local men to work with us as clearing three acres with one ax and a few machetes is slow work. Actually it's slow work if you are American and work primarily at a desk job. The men we hired put us to shame.  Regardless, we are happy we hired them and they were glad to have the work. We have eaten lunch each day at Pastor Andrew's school and have been able to interact with the children.  The school serves the Masesse community which is the poorest of the poor here in Jinja. Two afternoons we spoke with the men of the Masesse community. We spoke with them about what God expects of us as men, husbands, and fathers. At the end of day two 36 men had prayed to accept Jesus.  We spoke with the women on the third afternoon.  We prayed with them and 12 women prayed to accept Jesus. Please pray for them all and for Pastor Andrew as he continues to minister to them at his church after we leave.  Below are a few pics from the school.
Tomorrow we leave for the Palissa region to work with Pastor Samuel.  We will likely have no internet connection until we return to Jinja on Thursday.  Please continue to pray for God to work His plan for the people here.  Pray for Him to open their hearts and minds to His word as the community we will be in is primarily Muslim.
Thanks and God Bless.
Eric
